Tourism is the mainstay of Andorra's tiny, well-to-do economy.   Tourists are attracted by Andorra's duty-free status and by its summer and winter resorts.

Andorra has several major ski resorts, including Soldeu/El Tarter and Pal/Arinsal. These are very popular with tourists, particularly because their relatively gentle slopes are ideal for less experienced people as well as families. Andorran ski schools are among the largest in Europe.

Andorra has many hiking trails which can be explored during the summer months.
