Stay in a lovingly converted 19th century cowshed that sleeps 8; set in a beautiful, secluded valley with its own garden, waterfall, finnish sauna and Nature Reserve that’s more than 30 years old.
Deep in the Cothi valley of Brechfa Forest (one of the largest woodlands in Wales; 18,000 acres of ancient & managed forest between the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains).
The togetherness of a bunkhouse or hostel, with no curfew or membership, but the cosiness, comfort and privacy of a country cottage. Open-plan, with a wood-fired Rayburn, an upstairs mezzanine loft and all you need to self-cater. Sole use, so no need to wait to use any of the facilities, or share with strangers.
Parking for 4 cars right outside.
A great location for Nature & Outdoor enthusiasts, with mountain biking, walking, cycling, watching wildlife and angling “right on the doorstep” ; pony trekking nearby, river canoeing just 30 minutes away and gorgeous beaches just an hour. View Map

“That evening we walked down to the river through Maggie’s land, munching on raspberries picked straight off the bush with the smell of sweet meadow all around. With the help of Pablo, we found a spot to get right down into the water where we cooled off and marveled at the clear water and tranquil surroundings”
