In the village within 5 minutes walk from the hostel there is a traditional village pub and a village store/post office.
The hostel is part of the Dervaig village hall and provides accommodation for up to 10 guests in two bunkrooms, one sleeping 6 and the other sleeping 4. Each room has heating and an en-suite shower room with WC, shower and wash hand basin. There is a communal kitchen, a separate sitting room and a dining area in the foyer. Outside there is a large car park and a sports pitch which guests are welcome to use. The 2 bunkrooms can be booked by the bed or by the room on a daily/nightly basis.
