Bunkhouse User Guide

Respect other people using the bunkhouse – they may have had a long day and need to be up early.

Respect the environment – many bunkhouses and camping barns are on working farms and have neighbours who will not be impressed by late night noise.

Bunkhouses in rural areas are designed for people enjoying outdoor activities. If you want a night out partying, consider going to a city or at least make sure your accommodation is booked for sole use and that you have no chance of disturbing other people.

Due to the nature of bunkhouse and camping barn accommodation, leave the property as you would expect to find it.

When sharing with others, keep you personal belongings tidy and consider asking if there is secure storage for valuable possessions.

Communal kitchens should be kept clean and tidy – do your washing up promptly. Label any food left in fridges and remove food that you are not going to use. Finding a week old half pint of milk is not pleasant!

The key word is respect. Rights come with responsibilities, ignore the responsibilities and you will lose the rights.
